Hertfordshire Mercury's Primary Real Schools Guide 2017 aims to give a far more comprehensive picture than traditional league tables.

It takes into account 36 different datasets - including not just KS2 results but factors like progress, pupil-teacher ratios and absence rates.

We are delighted to announce that our school is ranked in 3rd place amongst all schools in the county.

Year 4 in Rickmansworth Dance Festival

Who knew Year 4 would be such talented dancers?!

On the 28th November,  they took part in the Rickmansworth Dance Festival and danced their socks off, performing to  the song "Waving Flag".

Ruhi said "I felt nervous when we went on stage to dance.  I liked the music and the audience.  I liked the flags because they went in a pattern, red, then white.  The audience was so happy and excited!"

Visit from Helen Ward

On Monday 9th October Chorleywood School had a visitor from Watford Ladies and Wales international Helen Ward. During her visit, Helen spoke about healthy living, how she got into football and the benefits of being active. Helen also did a question and answer session after her talk to the whole school. Questions such as where do you play, how many goals have you scored, what do you have to do to stay healthy, when is your next game were asked to the Wales international who was more than happy to answer.

We at Chorleywood would like to thank Helen for coming in and seeing us and wish her all the best for the season. Hopefully it’s a promotion for the Bees this year.
