Gold Medal Won at RHS Wisley
Aditi in Year 5 is the winner for Chorleywood Primary and built her garden at RHS Wisley. The theme this year is to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the publication of Enid Blyton’s Famous Five books. Aditi designed a garden with tunnels, boats, flowers and water. It incorporated sensory plants in different shapes and textures. It is a ‘madness of the senses.’ Here are some photos from the day - click on one to expand.

Visit to the Houses of Parliament
On 10th July, children from the school council, the house captains and the Head and Deputy Head boys and girls visisted the Houses of Parliament. Amelie, Year 6, wrote, ""I enjoyed going to the Houses of Parliament. I was fascinated by the past and present. I couldn't believe that we were even allowed to go through the the way where only the Queen is allowed to go. I learnt lots and I really want to go back to watch a debate.""The day is shown in the attached pictures. Please click on one to enlarge

Rickmansworth Dance Festival
On the 28th November, Year 4 took part in the Rickmansworth Dance Festival. Following weeks of practice and hard work, led by Mr Sandiford, the children were ready to take to the stage to perform to the song ""Waving Flag"". The children waited patiently as they were last to perform. They went on to do a fantastic performance, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Keira-Lynn said ""The Dance Festival was the time of my life! When we were on stage I was really nervous. The Dance Festival was fantastic!"" Lily said ""When I went on stage I couldn't help myself from laughing and smiling because I was so happy!"" Well done, Year 4
