New Early Education Entitlement for 3 and 4 year olds
From September 2017, eligible working parents of 3 and 4 year olds will be entitled to an additional 15 hours per week entitlement in addition to the child’s existing 15 hour free early education place. This works out to be 30 hours per week over a 38 week school year; however, this entitlement can be spread out over the year if there is childcare provision available.
In preparation for the introduction of this new entitlement from September 2017, we are conducting a survey to gain a better understanding of the demand for this in our local area. The survey outlines the eligibility criteria and asks about your current childcare arrangements, whether you are likely to be eligible for the new extended offer, and whether or not you plan to take it up within a school setting.
The results of this survey will then assist us in our decision making process. To access the survey, please click on the link below which will direct you to survey monkey. This survey will remain open until Tuesday 18th April. Many thanks for your assistance; we value your feedback.
